Basic press kit (
Briquette press, press molds, tarpaulin )
This press kit includes one hand operated lever press made of
treated first grade lumber, three mold sets, and one 3 x 5 meter
heavy duty tarpaulin, (wash basins to be supplied by user).
Base cost:
$350. Shipping dimensions 1.80m (6 ft) X 60 cm (2 ft) x 75 cm
(2.5 ft); weight 55 kg (120 lb). Add shipping and handling cost

Hand operated Thresher
chopper device: the TMC-1
This device is uniquely designed to process materials for briquette
making. It has capacity for shredding leafy materials as well
as chopping long reed, stalks, paper, carton board and selected
plastic bag materials. The unit is hand operated but can be
adapted to bicycle or a mechanized drive. The thresher is of
all metal construction, with sealed ball bearings but designed
for local maintenance in rural areas.
Capacity:
Can support material demand for up to two production teams (~300
Kg biomass material threshed chopped and mashed per day).
