Consulting/Management
Legacy Foundation principals are regularly requested to provide
assistance in technology innovation, training, participatory
development, planning, program design, implementation, monitoring,
and evaluation.
They have worked with the United Nations Development Program,
The Swedish International Development Authority, the United
Nations Capital Development Fund, the United Nations Industrial
Development Organisation, USAID, the World Health Organisation,
Plan International, CARE, the European Union, the Red Cross
and numerous non-government and private institutions.
What's New:
- The Foundation’s technical staff completed a consultancy
in Mali for Enterprise
Works in March. The assignment involved technical feasibility
of production and technical quality and efficiency of the
briquette product. Unique to this process was the development
of a new rotary comb thresher device as adapted from traditional
peanut threshers. It is under development in Mali and is
targeted for introduction in Peru as well as other nations,
which have interest in the briquette technology.
- Other Foundation management staff were engaged by the
United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) in Mozambique
and Zambia, to provide technical assistance in Local Governance
and Development Management projects.
- The Foundations has recently teamed up with Goat Tea Productions
in Los Angeles. A multifaceted production company, Goat
Tea clients include Nickolodeon, HBO, Adidas, and Bank of
America. Recent projects include a feature documentary on
the birth of a search engine called "Gottrouble.com".
